LEBANON, Missouri- Shadel’s Colonial Chapel has announced Gladys Bessie (Caster) Terrill passed away Friday. She was 111 years-old.
According her obituary, Terrill was born on September 12, 1905 in the Cleveland Community south of Houston, Missouri but had lived in Lebanon for the last several years at an assisted care facility. Gladys spent the majority of her adult life on their family farm near Raymondville in Texas County Missouri.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, her husband, Clarence A. Terrill, one grandson and her three siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Alberta Copeland and her husband Keith, two grandsons from out of state and three great grandchildren.
No service is planned and a private interment will be in the Allen Cemetery near Raymondville, Missouri.
