CAMDEN COUNTY, Missouri- On July 10th at about 7:52 am, the Camden County Sheriff’s Office says they  received several 911 calls involving a 14-year-old male who had been struck by a vehicle. The accident occurred in the 300 block of Four Seasons Drive, Lake Ozark, Mo, the agency says.

Deputies say the  vehicle, a 2011 Ford Explorer, was being driven by Joyce Ohde ,67, from Lake Ozark. The accident occurred when the 14-year-old from Ulman, who is a member of the School of the Osage Cross Country Team, ran into the path of the vehicle driven by Ohde. The parents of the boy were on the scene when deputies arrived.

The victim was transported by Staff for Life to the University of Missouri Medical Center in serious condition.
