Jefferson City, MO Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon and West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin today announced they have made a friendly wager on the outcome of the Division II football national championship game to be played on Saturday (Dec. 19) between the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats and the Shepherd University Rams. Semi Crash in Camdenton sends Pork for a ride

Dec 14th at approximately 5:10am Camdenton Police Officers responded to W Hwy 54 at Lakeview Street in reference to a single vehicle motor crash. Upon arrival Officers observed a tractor trailer unit on its right side on North side of U.S. Hwy 54. The truck had been hauling 40,000 lbs. of frozen pork. The driver advised Officers at the scene that he looked down momentarily and his 2000 Freighliner ran off the road into a ditch line, causing the trucking unit to overturn.
