Oklahoma deputy shot in manhunt for murder suspect accused of wounding two officers

HAMMON, Oklahoma -News 9 reports a fugitive who had been on the run for eight days has died after a shootout with law officers in western Oklahoma. Michael Vance was killed Sunday night while law enforcement agencies were investigating a possible sighting near Hammon. Law officers were called about 5 p.m. Sunday to a wooded area near Hammon in western Oklahoma after a person said they found the silver Mitsubishi Eclipse thought to be stolen by Michael Vance. At least 22 race fans hurt as car drives into crowd at Martinsville Speedway

MARTINSVILLE, Virginia– Local station WDBJ  is reporting at  least 22 people are injured after a person drove their car into a crowd at a parking lot of the Martinsville Speedway Sunday afternoon. Around 5:40 p.m., law enforcement got reports of pedestrians being hit by a car in a parking lot outside the Martinsville Speedway in Henry County. Man dressed as Freddy Krueger shoots five Halloween party guests

SAN ANTONIO, Texas-  WOAI reports a man dressed as the Freddy Krueger character shot five people with a shotgun at a Halloween party early Sunday morning, San Antonio police say. Two black males allegedly attended a Halloween party uninvited on the 2900 block of Aspen Meadow. Authorities say they started an argument inside the house and the homeowner asked them to leave. Wisconsin deputy found shot to death, subject sought

LADYSMITH, Wisconsin- A Rusk County Sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed after responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle in Rusk County and the suspect remains at large, according to the agency. A Rusk County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a call about a suspicious vehicle on Broken Arrow Road east of Highway 27 just south of Ladysmith around 10:55 p.m. Saturday night.
