Two rescued from roof of pickup in flood waters, fire department says

CONWAY, Missouri- The Conway Volunteer Fire Department says they assisted in the rescue of a man and woman who were trapped in flood waters early this morning. At 04:15 A.M Conway fire crews were dispatched to the Kilburn Bridge on Kilburn Bridge Road for a report of a pickup in flood waters with two occupants, they said. The department explains crews arrived on scene and requested additional resources for a confirmed water rescue. Funeral held for Richland man, 34, killed in wreck

RICHLAND, Missouri- The funeral for 34 year-old Gene Michael Jaegers of Richland, who was the passenger killed in a wreck last Friday was held on February 19th. The memorial was conducted at Berean Baptist Church of Waynesville. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. The driver in the single vehicle crash, Stacy Cirocco, 40, also of Richland was treated for moderate injuries at Lake Regional Hospital.
