Hatchet wielding intruder shot by armed resident during scuffle

BAGNELL, Missouri- On the evening of 07/23/2018, Miller County Sheriff’s deputies responded to 116 Old Bagnell Road for a 911 call referencing a shooting that had occurred. Upon arrival deputies found a victim with a single non-life threatening gunshot wound to the arm and was immediately transported to a local hospital after receiving care at the scene. Armed veteran mistakenly shot and killed by police after defending his home

AURORA, Colorado- A 73 year-old US Army veteran was mistakenly shot and killed by police after he killed an intruder at his Aurora Colorado home. Family has identified the homeowner as Richard Black. Black apparently had shot an intruder in his home, according to information released by Aurora police, then was himself shot by an Aurora officer responding to multiple reports of a disturbance in the area of East Montview Boulevard and North Iola Street. Arkansas State Police K9 shot dead, subject killed in gun battle

LUXORA, Arkansas- An Arkansas State Police K9 was fatally wounded and a trooper injured following a gun battle in Mississippi County on Monday. The Arkansas State Police say they observed a vehicle on I-55 that had reportedly been involved in a chase with law enforcement officers in Missouri. The driver was stopped by troopers, at which point the driver exited the vehicle and fled toward farm property. Lebanon man airlifted after rollover crash

LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- A 32 year-old Lebanon man was seriously injured in a Saturday evening crash on Hwy KK, 8 miles west of Lebanon according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Jeremy Dismang was transported by Mercy air ambulance to Springfield for treatment. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.
