Fuller calls mayor a law breaker after being tossed from council meeting

LEBANON, Missouri- Longtime Lebanon Route 66 advocate Howard Fuller says the shame of Lebanon are its leaders, and primarily Mayor Jared Carr, who he says is the leading law-breaker. This comes after Fuller was escorted out of Monday’s city council meeting by the Chief of Police at the direction of the mayor, who alleges that he (Fuller) violated public comment guidelines by repeating himself. Police Sergeant found dead at his home in Licking

LICKING, Missouri- The Houston Herald says today  Licking Police Department Sgt. Michael R. Hood was found deceased  in the morning hours at his residence in Licking. No foul play is suspected, the report said although it is being investigated by the Texas County Sheriff’s Department and the county coroner. The City of Licking Police Department also announced the death on their Facebook page in a statement. Grass mower seriously injured after being struck by trailer

LEBANON, Missouri- A 56 year-old Lebanon man was seriously injured Tuesday evening after he was hit by trailer on his riding lawn mower. Lance Link was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield following the accident. ‘ Troopers say Link entered the roadway and was hit by a towed unit pulled by Alan Grider, 69,  of Lebanon on Hwy MM.
