The driver may face multiple charges

OSAGE COUNTY, Missouri- A 6 year-old boy and a 26 year-old man were hospitalized after an Osage County crash on Mo 89 in Osage County Saturday afternoon. Neither were wearing restraints at the time of the crash and the driver may face alcohol and other charges the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. The wreck involved a single vehicle.

The child, Keegan Collier, was taken by air ambulance to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. He is from Belle.

The driver, Cody Miller, from Owensville was transported to Capitol Regional Hospital.

Miller may face charges of DWI causing serious injury, failure to drive on the right side of the roadway resulting in a crash, no insurance, no seatbelt and failure to restrain a child (2 counts).

Troopers say the crash happened when the Ford Ranger left the right edge of the roadway, overcorrected and then went off the right side. The vehicle then overturned several times and came to rest on its wheels.
