NEWBURG, Missouri- On July 24, 2018, the South Central Drug Task Force, Phelps County Sheriff’s Department, and the Rolla Police Department concluded a short term narcotics investigation in Phelps County. Officers obtained and executed a search warrant in the 200 block of East 2nd Street in Newburg, Missouri.

During the search warrant, officers seized approximately two hundred fifty (250) grams of marijuana, sixteen (16) grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately one half (1/2) gram of suspected heroin, crushed pills and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, Jack Allen Kimmel age 60 and Brenda Lee Schollaart age 62, both of Newburg, Missouri were arrested in connection with the items seized. Both Jack Kimmel and Brenda Schollaart were released pending warrant application.

On July 25, 2018 a warrant was issued for Jack Kimmel, charging him with three counts of Delivery of Controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid (Felony C RSMo: 579.020). Kimmel is currently being sought by law enforcement.

On July 26, 2018 a warrant was also issued for Brenda L. Schollaart charging her with two counts of Delivery of Controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid (Felony C RSMo: 579.020).

A third suspect, Jason A. Kimmel age 38 is also being sought regarding this investigation. On July 26, 2018 a warrant was issued for Jason A. Kimmel, charging him with one count of Delivery of Controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid (Felony C RSMo: 579.020).
