SPOKANE, Washington- Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies are trying to find a missing 6-year-old Danika Packard and an AMBER Alert has been issued by the Washington State Patrol, KHQ Q6 reports.

Packard is believed to be with her mother, 35-year-old Tracy Packard. Danika’s father tells deputies he believes Danika may be in danger. Tracy was last known to be driving a maroon 4-door, 2002 Buick LeSabre which was last observed traveling on I-90 eastbound at approximately 12:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Deputies were called to Danika’s school Monday morning after the school called her father and said Tracy had just pulled Danika out of school. The school aid Tracy was “acting odd: and state she was pulling Danika from school “to go be with the Lord.”

Danika’s father stated Tracy has been acting strangely over the last few days. He stated this behavior is not normal at all and is fearful for Danika and Tracy’s safety.

Danika is described as 4’00”, 55 pounds with brown hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink or purple top.

Tracy is described as 5’06”, 170 pounds with brown hair and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoody with white lettering.

Tracy’s vehicle is a maroon 4-door, 2002 Buick LeSabre with tinted windows bearing Washington license plates 934YVS.

In 2012, KHQ did a story on Danika when she was just 2-years-old and was hit by a drunk driver. Danika was riding her bicycle at the time when she was struck. She was wearing a helmet and required extensive care by her parents after the incident. The man who hit Danika, Timmy Nguyen was eventually sentenced to a year in prison and $37,000 in restitution.

Anyone with information regarding the location of this vehicle, or has seen Danika or Tracy Packard, is urged to call 911 immediately.
