LEBANON, Missouri- There was an apparent bomb threat earlier this week at Lebanon Middle School, My Ozarks Online is reporting.

The threat containing the words, ” “blow up this place on Friday” was discovered written in a bathroom stall. The report says the school district takes these threats seriously, and appropriate action was taken to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Communications Director Jacy Overstreet says making the threats, even as a prank, can result in students facing serious discipline for making a terroristid threat.

However, some parents are wondering why they were not notified.

The My Ozarks Online report says an investigation is underway by the Lebanon Police Department.
