From Camden County Sheriff’s Office:
“On February 8th, 2017 at approximately 8:00 PM, while on patrol of the Horseshoe Bend Parkway, [a] Camden County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop of a gold Mercury Mariner.
While speaking with the driver (a 30 year old, white, and female from Kansas City, Missouri) the Deputy detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the interior of the Mariner. The driver produced an invalid Colorado driver’s license for the Deputy.
The Deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and found “over 12 ounces of marijuana, (some packaged for sale), Zip-Lock baggies, scales and other drug paraphernalia.” The woman was taken into custody on a 24-hour hold in the Camden County Detention Center.
“More information will be provided after formal charging.”
