Bobby Lee Ward, son of Joseph Lown and Wilma Ward, was born on December 1, 1980, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of thirty-six years, ten months, and 27 days.
On February 20, 2004, he was united in marriage to Edith Pauline Colbert.

He was preceded in death by his uncle, Jimmy Ward; and his stepmother, Peggy Webb.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Edith Ward, of Lebanon, Missouri; two daughters, Cheyenne Ward and Kendle Ward, both of Lebanon, Missouri; three step-daughters, Crystal Colbert, of Everton, Missouri, Briana McNabb and Jewelie Waterworth, both of Lebanon, Missouri; a brother, Jacob Webb, of Springfield, Missouri; a sister, Audrey Webb, of Springfield, Missouri, his father, Joseph Lown, of Kansas City, Missouri; his mother, Wilma Ward, of Lebanon, Missouri; his maternal grandparents, Verble and Irene Ward, of Lebanon, Missouri; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

He was born and raised in Lebanon, Missouri and attended Lebanon High School. Early his life he did factory work for a period of time. He was also a volunteer fire fighter for the communities of Sleeper and Eldridge, Missouri.

Bobby attended Lifepoint Church in Lebanon, Missouri.

In his spare time he enjoyed buying and selling items on the internet and liked to go camping occasionally. He was also skilled in repairing automobiles and selling them. Bobby loved spending time with his kids and his animals. He had a two fur babies named “Booger” and “Camo” that he absolutely loved.

Bobby was a loving husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, grandson and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

A memorial has been established and can be left at Holman-Howe Funeral Home.
