The store’s owners have ties to the Ku Klux Klan
BRANSON, Missouri- A Branson retailer is blaming a gay/lesbian group for hacking their Facebook page. Branson Dixie Outfitters specializes in the sale of confederate flags.
“Our Facebook page has been down….we believe hacked from a Gay/Lesbian group targeting our business! We will not be silenced! We appreciate all the prayers of support and orders for Confederate flags! We are selling out of 3×5 Confederate flags fast! We do have a sale on 4’x6′ for the same price as a 3’x5’…just $9.99. (Reg price $24.99) We appreciate your business!! Stand strong PATRIOTS!” they said in a post.
On August 12th, the store had praised the white supremacist protesters in Charlottesville, Virginia calling them “proud southerners” and “proud Americans.”
The same day, a car slammed into a group of antifascist there killing a woman and injuring dozens more. The driver has been arrested and charged.
A 2015 News Leader report alleged the store’s owners have ties to the KKK. Nathan Robb , co-owner of the store, once tried to adopt a highway in Arkansas on behalf of the Ku Klux Klan and Nathan Robb’s father is Thomas Robb, the national director of the KKK.
