LEBANON, Missouri- Lebanon police say that a call from a concerned cab driver led to the arrest of 31 year-old man for allegedly assaulting his pregnant girlfriend Tuesday.

In the report,  the officer said  she was dispatched to the 300 block of North Washington for a well-being check in the early morning. This came after  a Lebanon cab driver told police that a “hysterical” pregnant female had been picked up near Lebanon High School.  Investigation found an 18 year-old  female of Lebanon  had been assaulted by her boyfriend.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of 2nd degree domestic assault and placed the suspect on a 24-hour hold at the Laclede County Jail.
