LEBANON, Missouri- Clifford W. Underwood, 42, from Lebanon is facing numerous charges after a Friday night crash on Evergreen Parkway. The Missouri State Highway Patrol report said he also suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital by ambulance.

Troopers say Underwood was operating his vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner when he lost control of the Ford Explorer and struck an exposed propane pipe, coming to a rest.

Underwood was arrested for Felony DWI-Chronic Offender, Felony Fleeing Creating a Substantial Risk, No Valid Proof of Insurance, Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving a Crash,  No plates, Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway, and No Seatbelt. The vehicle was totaled and towed away.

He has been released to medical care.

Lebanon City Police and Lebanon City Fire also were working the crash.
