RICHLAND, Missouri- The Tri-County Fire Protection District says they responded to a single-engine airplane crash at the Richland airport Tuesday.
Tri-County FPD was dispatched at around 12:30 pm to the incident they said in a release. Arriving units found an aircraft on its roof with two patients that had gotten out of the plane. One patient was transported by helicopter to the hospital and one patient refused care, they said.
Today, representatives from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) met with Richland Police and Tri-County FPD at the scene. They have conducted their investigation and crews assisted with uprighting the aircraft and moving it to the apron.
