BUFFALO, Missouri- The Buffalo Reflex says  a 1970 Dodge Charger that was featured in the movie “Fast and Furious 5” was sitting in a bay at Davies Motor Co. on Friday morning. The engine had just been overhauled by Greg and Shawn McKinney of Eagle Machine in Buffalo.

Eagle Machine is well known for its expertise in high-quality engines, the report said.

“They rebuilt the whole motor,” said Kevin Moore, the mechanic at Davies. “We installed it and fine-tuned it.”

Moore said the car was taken to Brazil in the fifth movie, and it ended up getting smashed during the shooting. He said it was the #12 stunt car, and the producers may have used 14 cars because the movie was shot in so many different countries.

Moore, a graduate of Buffalo High School, took Automotive 1 and 2 courses at he Dallas County Technical Center back in 2007, and they have paid off for him, career-wise.
