LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- Lebanon Rural Fire Protection says this morning they were requested to assist the Hazelgreen Fire Protection District, Sleeper/Stoutland Fire Department, and Tri County Fire Protection District at the 140 mile marker of East bound I-44 for a semi truck fire. Pumper Tanker 72 responded to the alarm, the agency said.
As crews were finishing up this incident, Hazelgreen Fire received a call for a motor vehicle collision in the area of Hwy T and Swallow Dr.,
I-44. Pumper Tanker 72 was released from the previous truck fire and responded to the vehicle crash. Pumper Tanker 72 arrived on scene to find a non-injury accident and turned the scene over to the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, they said.
