Residents heard multiple sirens going through Lebanon Sunday night

LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- Chief Phillip Pitts with the Lebanon Rural Fire Protection District says his agency, along with at least 13 area agencies responded to a structure fire on Hwy WW Sunday night. An older couple has been displaced at the address west of Nightingale.

The wind-driven fire had traveled through most of the structure by the time firefighters arrived on scene. Pitts said many of the 75 firefighters on scene were primarily engaged in water supply, shuttling from two locations. He said the MSHP had to briefly shut down the roadway.

Relatives say the house belonged to Paul Agan and Martha Burke, and they were celebrating their anniversary.
