CAMDEN COUNTY, Missouri- A firefighter was treated and released from the hospital after a Sunday blaze that damaged a home.
Tri-County FPD, Crocker FPD and Waynesville RFPD were dispatched at before 2 a.m. for a residential in the 25000 block of State Highway A in Camden County. Tri-County Pumper/Tanker 1351 and Tanker 1361 responded with 7 Firefighters. Crocker Engine 1552, Tanker 1563, Waynesville Engine 1951, Command 1992 and PCAD Medic 24 responded, Tri-County said.
Responders arrived to find fire showing from two corners of the home. Crews attacked the fire through the front door and a second attack line was deployed to the rear of the home. The fire was brought under control a short time later. One firefighter was transported to the hospital and later released, the department said.
The home appeared to be a complete loss.
Mid-County Fire Protection District and Hazelgreen FPD both responded with tankers, they said.
