LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri – The Missouri State Highway Patrol says four people from the area were hurt in a Memorial Day head-on crash on Hwy WW at AA.

Shannon Vaughn, 41, from Lebanon was treated for serious injuries at Lebanon Mercy Hospital. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Virginia Warren, 35, also from Lebanon. She suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

Daniel Osborn, 20, from Lebanon suffered moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Lebanon Mercy Hospital. He was driving a pickup with Shawnda Peterson, 20, from Stoutland as a passenger. Peterson suffered serious injuries and was taken to Lake Regional by Ambulance.

The Highway Patrol reports says northbound Warren turned into the path of the southbound Osborn truck which caused them to strike head-on. Both vehicles then went off the right side of the roadway.

Trooper Ice responded at 2:32 pm and was assisted by Trooper Southwood and the Laclede County Sheriff’s Department in the investigation.
