HOLT’S SUMMIT, Missouri- The funeral arrangements have been set for Breaden Sconce, 19, of Holt’s Summit according to family members. The man was seriously injured in a weather-related traffic crash on February 4th on North 5 Hwy near Atchley Park. Sconce was transported by air immediately after the accident to Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. A passenger in the other involved vehicle, Alyssa Stewart, suffered less severe injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital Lebanon.

At the time of the crash, Sconce was going North on Highway 5, and lost control of his car on the slickened roadway, spinning into the Southbound lanes and was hit by a pickup driven by 60 year-old Susan Jones of Lebanon. The Sconce car caught fire after crash.

On Tuesday, Stephanie Turner wrote: “Our sweet boy went to be with the Lord @ 12:50AM”

Visitation is scheduled Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Crossing Church in Columbia.

There will be a second public visitation at the South Callaway High School gymnasium on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled following visitation also at the South Callaway High School gymnasium.
