JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri-  Governor Greitens says he is calling companies around the state and country wanting to know from them how Missouri can attract business.

“Today I did something I do every single week: I called companies around the state and around the country. I start with simple questions: How can Missouri attract your business? What do you need from me and my team to grow jobs in this state? Sometimes I’m calling to thank companies who have made a decision to move to Missouri; sometimes it’s because they are choosing between us and another state, and I want them to know that we’re invested in their success.

It’s easy for people in government to get isolated. They can forget that they are sent here to do the people’s work. And right now, our state’s most urgent need is more jobs with higher pay. We’re going to win that fight—and we’re going to work hard every single day to make Missouri a prosperous place once again,”  said Governor Eric Greitens

Yesterday, the governor signed “Right to Work” legislation that  prohibits unions from requiring dues from workers as a condition of employment.
