LEBANON, Missouri- Shawn Heinrichs, the maintenance supervisor for Joel E. Barber school is making a plea for donations of items to add some fun to a safe play area that was built over the summer.

“I am asking for donations of Tonka toys, sand buckets with shovels for the kids to play and to let their imaginations run wild. As you can see in the pictures it is pea gravel and more is coming in the future,” Heinrichs said in a Facebook post.

He said the items are being collected at the school. You can call (417) 532-4837 for more information.
