LEBANON, Missouri-  Lebanon Kiwanis Club  says volunteers are needed to help shop with the kids shop twice each day for their 2016 Kiwanis Kids Christmas Shopping – December 6th, 7th, & 8th.

“We invite caring and responsible adults to sign up to shop as many times as possible. For those that have volunteered previously, nothing has changed except for the sign up process. For first time volunteers, prepare for a life changing experience as we bus in up to 300 children grades K-8th from Lebanon, Conway, Joel E. Barber, and Gasconade Schools.”

“You will simply assist the child in selecting new clothing. You will also likely make a new friend for life. For some kids, this may be the only new clothes they have ever had. Details and guidelines will be discussed in the minutes prior to the kids arrival at each listed time. We ask that you show up 15 minutes earlier than the listed time. The Lebanon Kiwanis Club works hard all year long raising the money for this amazing program.”

Kiwanis and some other local charity organizations will be receiving community grant checks from Walmart tomorrow morning at 8 am, said Sean Clearbrook.

To contribute please send checks to Lebanon Kiwanis Club PO Box 170 Lebanon, Mo 65536. To volunteer please go here: https://www.volunteersignup.org/T8J3Q
