County commissioners and the emergency management director say they want people to shelter in place and stay home if that is possible Friday. They say it is important to reach out to your neighbors and check on them

There had not been a lot of activity on the roads before 7 a.m. Friday, but MoDOT trucks and plows were out in force laying down chemicals.
