LEBANON, Missouri- The City of Lebanon is inviting the public to meet the two City Administrator candidate finalists on Tuesday, February 27th from 5 – 6:30 PM at the Cowan Civic Center.

Danny Brown has 10 years of municipal management experience and currently serves as the District Manager for the South Kern Cemetery District in Bakersfield, California, a position he has held since 2013. He previously served as the District Manager for the Wasco Recreation and Parks District, in Wasco, California, and the Economic Development Manager for the City of Wasco. He earned a master’s degree in public administration, a master’s degree in personnel administration, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University.

Mike Schumacher has 13 years of municipal management experience and currently serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, a position he has held since 2012. He previously served as the city’s Assistant to the Director for the Municipal Correctional Institution, Animal Health and Public Safety, Tow Services, Neighborhood Preservation, and Dangerous Buildings divisions. Schumacher earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/administration from Central Missouri State University, is a Certified Public Manager, and is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA.)
