LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- A 55 year-old Lebanon man was injured in a crash on Hwy 5 Friday evening. Troopers say he was in the wrong lane when he struck another vehicle.
Darrell Burns was taken by ambulance to Lake Regional Medical Center following the crash with moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Hi insurance was also expired.
The other driver, who was operating an International 7500 truck, was not hurt. He was identified as Carl Mankey from Camdenton in the report.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report says Burns was northbound in the southbound lane when he struck the front of the truck that was travelling south.
Trooper Corporal Clement responded at 7:35 pm.
