LEBANON, Missouri- On September 30, 2017 Brandon H. Hileman, 24,  a math teacher from  Lebanon, Missouri was charged with Class B Felony Possession of Child Pornography.

Last Friday, a search warrant was obtained for Hileman’s residence after receiving a tip that he had uploaded child pornography on the internet. A detective with the Lebanon Police Department, who is a member of the Lake Area Cyber Crimes Task Force, and an agent with Homeland Security Investigations executed the search warrant at Hileman’s residence. Several electronics and computer equipment used to commit the crimes were located and seized, police said in a statement.

Hileman was taken to the Lebanon Police Department where further details were provided about the crimes committed. Hileman was then transported to Laclede County Jail where he was held.

The Lake Area Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Lebanon Police Department  say they want to encourage internet users to promptly report to their local law enforcement agency anyone who attempts to engage in unwanted, inappropriate, or sexualized communications with children.

The Joel E. Barber School District lists Hileman as a math teacher. He also was reportedly a former substitute teacher in Lebanon.

Hileman was released from the Laclede County Jail, after he met the $50,000 cash/surety bond.
