BUFFALO, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a Lebanon man was killed in a motorcycle crash near Buffalo. His remains were discovered on Monday by Highway 32, 7.2 miles east of Buffalo.

Michael (Mike) E. Lane, 53, was declared deceased at the scene and his body taken to Springfield Mortuary Service.

The 1995 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the right side of the roadway, and struck a barbed wire fence. The motorcycle overturned, ejecting Lane.

Lane was declared deceased at 6:28 a.m. by Dallas County Coroner Chuck Nimmo.
