LEBANON, Missouri-  On Thursday night, officers responded to the 200 Block of Lee Street in Lebanon, Missouri to investigate a disturbance.  Lebanon Responding officers were told that a man  and woman at the address were involved in some sort of altercation and explained the man had a firearm.

Police said they encountered a 31 year old white male from Lebanon at the front
door of the residence and also a 38 year-old white female inside the residence.

It was learned the man and woman had gotten into a verbal altercation and ended up with the man producing a gun.

The woman told police the man threatened to shoot her dog,  and anyone who arrived at
to help her, including the police.

A loaded firearm was found within the residence and the man was later arrested and placed on a 24
hour hold, police said in a report.

A probable cause statement was forwarded to the Laclede County Prosecutor’s Office.
