LEBANON, Missouri- The district says all Lebanon R-3 students will be given the opportunity to go outside to view the solar eclipse on Monday, August 21. “Our teachers are very excited to use this unique event as a hands-on learning opportunity for our students, ” they said. ¬†However, students will only be allowed outside to view the eclipse if they have turned in a signed Solar Eclipse Viewing Permission Slip. Students who do not have a signed permission slip will stay inside for an alternative activity. Eclipse glasses and safety education will be provided to all students for a safe viewing experience.
