LEBANON, Missouri- Shadel’s Colonial Chapel has announced Jarrad “Deuce” Schomaker passed away October 22nd.

In 2010, Jarrad was diagnosed with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a recessive form of muscular dystrophy, only affecting 1 in 3,600 males.

“He is wheelchair bound, yet full of life remaining positive even through the toughest times. Jarrad continues to live in a bubble of happiness, sharing his pure joy with everyone he meets. During the summer, he speeds around the local parks, or chases his dad through their neighborhood. Jarrad attends a summer Muscular Dystrophy Camp and is known and Speedracer1 because he is just that fast! He’s the life of any party, busy making everyone laugh and having a good time. Jarrad’s heart of gold makes it easy for his compassion and love for people to shine through no matter what,” said Bays Chiropractic in a 2015 Facebook post.

Funeral service for Jarrad “Deuce” Schomaker, age 14, of Lebanon, MO. will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Stan Hill officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Wednesday also at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel.

Burial in the Lebanon Cemetery.
