STRAFFORD, Missouri- A 65 year-old Lebanon woman as dead after a head-on crash on westbound I-44 that happened Sunday morning. The driver of the other vehicle may face charges of involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated.

Deborah Rae (Vibbard) Coleman was pronounced deceased on the scene by Mercy paramedic Charles Schrader. Her body was transported to the Greene County Medical Examiner’s office.¬†According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident

Troopers say the crash occurred when William A. Dorlac,39, from Springfield lost control of his eastbound Chevy truck and crossed the median cables into the opposing lanes where he struck Coleman head-on. Dorlac was released from patrol custody after a blood-alcohol test for medical care in treating minor injuries. Online records say he is now incarcerated in the Greene County jail.

Trooper Kahler was called to the scene at 11:53 am.
