INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana- A Marine veteran’s service animal is missing after a vehicle theft according to authorities.

:Help us out Indianapolis!! We usually post photos of our own canines, but this little guy is a service dog given by the VA to a Marine Corps Veteran. He is part Rhodesian Ridgeback and his name is Wrigley. (He is also chipped),” the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department K9 Association stated in a Facebook post.

They explained that his family is moving from Illinois to Florida and stopped on the southwest side of Indy for a break. “While stopped, their vehicle was stolen with Wrigley inside.”

“The vehicle was recovered on the East side of Indy, but Wrigley was not found. 2 of the 3 suspects were captured and arrested. But if you see this dog, help him get home to his Marine!! Please share!” they pleaded.
