JEFFERSON CITY, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says at approximately 10:30 p.m. on December 13, 2018, troopers responded to a traffic crash on Interstate 70, near the 96-mile marker, in Cooper County. “Melissa was, she just was like that light in every room. We all have that person that has a positive outlook on everything and they ask you how you’re doing before you even get the chance to ask them how they’re doing,” said Erin Sanderson, CMN Program Director, according to a KELO report.
The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 573-751-1000.
