RENICK, Missouri- A Central Missouri firefighter suffered serious injuries and his fire truck was demolished in a crash Saturday.
Kenneth A. McCune, 57, was responding to a fire at around 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 when the truck he was driving left he right side of the road on Business 63 near Renick. The truck hit a culvert, overturned and struck a sign ejecting McCune.
McCune was transported by Randolph County ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia.
Trooper Kindle was assisted by Mstr Sgt Berry, the Southeastern Randolph Fire Protection District and Randolph County Sheriffs Department.
