LEBANON, Missouri- The Lebanon Police Department says on September 19, Scott H. Bonner, described as a 36 year old white male from Lebanon was charged with one one count of Class B Felony Trafficking in the 2nd Degree and two counts of Class D Felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Bonner is currently incarcerated in the Laclede County Jail on a $100,000 cash/surety bond, police reported.
On the evening of September 18, 2017 while attempting to locate a suspect in another investigation in the area of Phillips Drive, a Lebanon Patrol Officer located a suspicious vehicle without valid license plates in the area. A traffic stop was initiated and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the officer requested a Lebanon K-9 unit respond to his location, the agency said.
Police say on arrival of the K-9 unit, a K-9 made a positive indication to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and several illegal items in the vehicle were seized as evidence.
During the search, almost 200 grams of white crystalline substance which field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine and over $10,000 were located and seized.
