From May 1 through May 12, 2015, the Osage Beach Police Department, along with other LawEnforcement Agencies nationwide, will be participating in an enforcement campaign to curb drunk driving among drivers who are under the age of 21.
During this time frame, there will be an increased law enforcement presence for the purpose of decreasing impaired driving among our youth. It is no secret that an impaired driver, no matter what the age, puts the passengers, other motorists and themselves at risk.
The other negative consequences is the possibility of jail time, loss of driver’s license, financial hardship, increased insurance rates, attorney fees, court costs, lost time a work and school and the potential loss of job.
Driving drunk is simply not worth the risk. For more information, visit www.saveMOlives.com, “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.”
This has been a friendly reminder from the Osage Beach Police Department because we care about your safety.
