LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two Lebanon residents were hurt in a crash after they swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle on Hwy 32 Wednesday evening. The crash happened southeast of Falcon.

Roy Francis, 57, the driver, was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon for treatment of minor injuries.

Travis Francis, 25, a passenger, was also transported to Mercy Hospital for minor injuries.

Troopers say  Francis traveled off the roadway, went down an embankment and struck a bridge support. He was westbound.

The report doesn’t indicate if the other driver has been identified or apprehended.

Both occupants of the 2002 Chevy pickup were wearing seatbelts.

Trooper Sgt. Mobley responded to the scene at 7:30 p.m.
