GREENE COUNTY, Missouri- The Greene County Sheriff’s Office said that on July 8, 2018, around 2:00 AM one of their patrol deputies had just ended tour. He parked his fully-marked, patrol car in his driveway and went inside his residence. A short time later he heard gunfire outside. The deputy went outside and found his patrol car had been struck 3 times. The deputy is safe, and there was no damage located to his residence, personal vehicles, or any other vehicle/structure, the agency said.
