The Central Missouri Jennies won the 2018 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship, and we’re moving the party from Sioux Falls to Warrensburg! To honor the National Champion Jennies, UCM Athletics is hosting a pep rally Monday, March 26 at 5 p.m. in the UCM Multipurpose Building and all are welcome to attend.

Fans will have a chance to receive a Jennies Basketball National Champions poster that they can have signed by the players and coaches. Fans who are unable to attend the pep rally celebration can watch it through a free webcast from the UCM Media Network. Fans can access the webcast by going to www.themiaanetwork.com/ucmmules.

The Jennies completed a 30-3 season with a 66-52 win over previously undefeated Ashland to capture the second National Championship in program history. The Jens won their 11th MIAA regular season and seventh Central Region championships. Their 30 wins and 18 MIAA wins are both program records. UCM’s road to the Championship included wins over No. 2 Lubbock Christian in the Elite Eight and No. 14 Union (TN) in the Final Four.
