“Little did I know that there would be attempts to relegate me to the sidelines even AFTER I won!”

LEBANON, Missouri- Mayor Josh Ray posted the following concerning Monday evening’s scheduled City Council meeting:

“Please come out tomorrow night (May 8, 2017) to show your support for our Mayor-Council form of government. Among other items on the agenda, there is a first reading of a proposed ordinance to remove the mayor’s appointive authority of the community development director and public works director. When it was put forth in work session, only two councilmen indicated they were in favor of the mayor retaining that authority, which means that unless we change city council’s minds, the mayor will be less and less relevant and your direct access to the head of our city government will effectively be severed.

Remember during my campaign when I said that “sitting on the sidelines” isn’t an option? Little did I know that there would be attempts to relegate me to the sidelines even AFTER I won! Help me take back City Hall from six years of bureaucratic nonsense, smoke, and mirrors!
LEBANON FIRST. POLITICS NEVER.”
