LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two teens, one from Richland and the other from Falcon were involved in a Sunday afternoon crash on Vintage Road south of Hwy 32.

Janessa Gregory, 16, from Falcon suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon. She was a passenger in a car driven by Farrell Curtis, 16, from Richland. He was unhurt.

Troopers say the crash occurred when Curtis swerved to miss a deer, traveled off the roadway and struck a deer.

Both teens were wearing seatbelts.

The 2003 Ford Mustang was totaled and towed.

Trooper Sgt. Mobley responded to the scene at 4:35 p.m.
