LACLEDE COUNTY, Missouri- A Richland man was hurt in a Friday morning crash on Hwy AC, according to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Vincent Boren, 55, was by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

An arrest report says Boren may now have to answer for charges of DWI -aggravated offender, Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving a Crash, Driving While Revoked, No Insurance, and No Seatbelt. He was released to the custody of the hospital.

The patrol says Boren’s pickup went off the right side of the road striking a sign, and returned to the highway. He then traveled off the right side of the roadway again. Overcorrecting, he crossed the roadway, this time departing the roadway on the left side. The Ford F-150 came to a rest after overturning.

Court records show that Boren was convicted in 2007 of DWI but given a suspended sentence after shock time served. In 2014 he was arrested for driving on a revoked license. He was convicted again in 2016 and given a suspended sentence.

Trooper Mizer responded at 10:52 am and was assisted by Cpl. Brackett in the investigation.
