LEBANON, Missouri- On Thursday Lebanon police said they recovered a stolen electric guitar and amplifier, they also arrested a burglary suspect in connection with the incident.

Police said that the 23 year-old theft  victim came to the police department and reported his musical equipment was taken from his girlfriend’s residence in the 700 block of Parkhurst. According to the police report, the victim said that his neighbor witnessed a 21 year old white male from Lebanon entering the apartment.

Police then responded to the suspect’s apartment and met with the suspect’s girlfriend. The LPD officer said the girlfriend allowed the apartment to be searched and the stolen items were found.

Police say the  suspect was taken into custody at his place of employment and he confessed to burglarizing the residence. The suspect was taken to the Laclede County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold for burglary.
