LEBANON, Missouri- According to a report made by the Lebanon Police Department, a test drive turned into a missing vehicle investigation Wednesday.
An officer was dispatched to a car dealership in the 300 block of Elm and was told by a a salesman that a customer asked to test drive Gold 2000 Saturn SL2 that was parked on the back side of the building. The dealer said he made a copy of the 36 year-old man’s driver’s license. After awhile, the salesman became concerned the man wasn’t going to return the vehicle and contacted the LPD. The alleged theft occurred around noon.
Police are searching for the vehicle as the investigation continues.
