PHELPS COUNTY, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two people were killed in a head-on collision on Mo Hwy 68 Sunday morning. The crash happened south of St. James.
Richard Brown, 78, from Cook Station Missouri was pronounced deceased at the scene by Coroner Andy Davis along with the other driver, Adam Peck, 34, from St. Peters, Missouri. Both were transported to Rolla Cremation.
Troopers say the crash happened when Brown, in a pickup truck, crossed the centerline and struck Peck, also in pickup. Both vehicles left the roadway following the impact and Peck overturned.
The St. Louis Ramblers Rugby Club said Adam Peck was a great Rambler, “a truly generous human being who recently started the non-for-profit #rallypointrc Rally Point Retreat Center charity to help his fellow veterans. Adam is survived by his wife Sarah, daughter and son, Silas, a great kid on our Rookie Rugby team.”
