SEYMOUR, Missouri- The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports two people have died in Seymour Wednesday afternoon after a semi drove into the rear of a pickup truck that was stopped for a red light and pushed into into another tractor-trailer. The collision occurred on Highway 60 at West Clinton Avenue.

Tisha Briggs, 48, and Leo Walker, 47,  from West Plains were pronounced dead by Webster County Coroner Rob Jernigan.  They were transported to Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Seymour.

Troopers say the crash happened when Biggs and Walker were stopped at a red light and  was stuck from behind by a semi driven by 33 year-old Adam Housley from Mountain Grove. The pickup was pushed into the rear of a tractor trailer which was also stopped at the intersection. The patrol says a fourth vehicle was hit with debris.

A sobriety check on Housley was performed as required by law. No pending charges are indicated.

Trooper Stallup was called to the scene at 3:10 p.m. and was assisted by other troopers and the major crash team.

Sierra Wilburn who took the photo below of the crash said, “Today I will be praying for those who were in a wreck on 60. The pictures are horrifying and heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the family.”
